Spring (May 4 – June 14, 2018)
- facilities and services are limited
- trails, canoe routes and day-use areas are open as snow and ice conditions permit
- Mijinemungshing and Gargantua roads may open later than May 4, depending on snow conditions
- campgrounds open May 18
- Visitor Centre open May 18 (9am to 5 pm)
Summer (June 15 – September 3, 2018)
- campgrounds, day-use areas and the backcountry are fully operational
- all campgrounds and day-use areas have vault toilets
- Visitor Centre now open until 8 pm
- Interpretive programs and activities are provided throughout the park; check the Park Calendar for upcoming events and information
Fall (September 4 – October 9, 2018)
- campground gatehouses are closed
- park info, registration, canoe rentals, firewood and ice are available from the Park Office (8 am – 4:30 pm, Mon-Fri) and the Visitor Centre (9 am – 5 pm, daily)
- Agawa Rock Pictographs closes September 21
- Rabbit Blanket campground is open until Oct. 9; Agawa Bay campground is open until Oct. 9; Visitor Centre open until Oct. 7; backcountry camping and day-use are open until Oct. 28
- There is a hunting season for moose, grouse and varying hare in a designated area of the park; click here for more information
Winter (October 29, 2018 – May 2019)
- facilities and services are not provided
- the Visitor Centre, campgrounds and park roads (i.e. Mijinemungshing and Gargantua) are closed and gated
- visitors are welcome to ski, snowshoe and ice fish
- snowmobiles are not permitted, except on the Frater Road to access areas east of the park
- special park rules and regulations are still in effect (i.e. banning live bait-fish and cans and bottles in the backcountry); click here for more info
